Breana received a Master of Social Work in Clinical Social Work Practice from University of Calgary and a
Bachelor of Social Work from University of Victoria.
One of the aspects she cherishes most about counseling is the profound privilege of sitting with courageous individuals every day. She gains invaluable insights through her interactions with clients and feels deeply grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside them through the many stages of life.
Since beginning her work, Breana has met with individual clients and couples from a wide range of backgrounds. She enjoys working with many diverse topics which may include: emotional regulation, relationship difficulties, addiction, trauma, and much more.
Breana has had specialized training in supporting first responders. She volunteers her time with
BOTG Alberta ensuring the first responder community has access to the supports they need. She is also a spouse of a first responder, so this area of practice is near and dear to her heart, bringing this lived experience into sessions.
Therapy is a collaborative process where both the therapist and client work together. In creating a therapeutic connection, individuals can feel heard and seen at their deepest levels. Through this, we can build on your unique strengths and cultivate hope and growth. I truly believe that change best occurs through positive human connection.
